Easter
Easter was really relaxing this year! Jason and Chloe hosted and all I had to do was show up. The view was incredible and the day was super relaxing. The girls have had so many egg hunts this year, we will be swimming in candy forever!
Egg Hunt at Olivia’s Friend’s House
We were invited to an egg hunt put on by one of Olivia’s classmates. Their house has a crazy backyard. it has a huge hill that they created a stairway down, then at the bottom there is a play area and full basketball court. The girls had fun searching for eggs but boy did it make me nervous. Haha I was also thankful that I am pregnant and physically couldn’t go down the stairs with them, Adrian had to do all the exercising this day!
Fashionista
Olivia was invited to a birthday party at a place called Bold Girlz. haha I didn’t know what we were getting into. Apparently it is a fashion show place that the girls get to put on dresses and get their hair and makeup done. Olivia was not a fan. As you can see by her facial expressions, this was not for her! Afterwards she told me she would much rather be the clothing designer than the model. Good for her! haha
Claire and Olivia Day
Jillian was spending the day with a friend of hers, so I took the opportunity to spend some time with just Olivia and Claire. We started the day with a pancake breakfast then went strawberry picking. The girls had a lot of fun!
Mall Art
The mall has a drop off art class. We signed the girls up for a 15 minute session to try it out. They loved it! 
Jog-A-Thon
This year Olivia kicked butt at the Jog-A-Thon! She was such a little runner… she may take after Adrian and join cross country in high school!
Zoomar’s Petting Zoo Fun
The girls love going to Zoomar’s Petting Zoo.
Girl Scout Cookies
This was our first time selling Girl Scout Cookies! Olivia and I attended a Cookie Rally a few weeks ago. It was great because they had stations to help the girls get ready to sell. One of my favorite stations was the “door to door” station. They had fake doors that the girls had to knock on and talk to the people who answered the doors. I was nervous that Olivia wouldn’t say anything, but she surprised me! She did really well, remembering all the things we had previously learned about with cookie sales.
We started the cookie sales off with 120 boxes of cookies. We went door to door in our neighborhood on day one, selling most of the cookies. Then on day two the girls walked around my mom’s neighborhood, selling the remainder of the cookies. Can you believe it?! 120 boxes sold in 2 days!! So amazing!
We went back for more… but this is when things started to slow down… I’m glad we went out on day 1 and 2 of cookie sales! People have had their fill and we are still left with 23 boxes from our second order. Fingers crossed we can move these things!
Painting Party
Olivia attended a Painting Birthday party for a friend from school. She loved it so much! The party was so quiet because the girls were all so very focused on their art work! Olivia did a great job!
