I consider myself to be an amateur Graphic Designer. I work mostly in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I’ve created flyers and business cards for the company Bella Stitches. I have also created the packaging for Bella Stitches’ Wine Charms. I’ve used my design skills to create all of my announcements and invitations.
Since the birth of my first daughter digital scrapbooking has become my passion. I get such a thrill from designing a beautiful page around my beautiful pictures. I love how unique each page becomes. Digital scrapbooking gives me the freedom to be as creative as I want without the cost and mess of paper scrapbooking.
I have been creating my own websites since 2003. I’ve used programs such as Adobe Dreamweaver, Wordpress, and Microsoft Frontpage. My websites have always been for my own personal use. My classroom website, which went down this year, has been my main focus. It was a great place for my students and their parents to find classroom resources. I also began a teacher resource website called MyTeacherSpot.com. This has been a work in progress and I hope to have it up and running by the end of the year. Last year I designed a website for the company Bella Stitches. The first edition of their website was created in Dreamweaver to create their site. It is currently in the process of being moved into Wordpress . Starting in January, I moved into the world of Blogging. I created a personal blog to keep my family updated on the events in our life. I also started a digital scrapbook blog that I will showcase some of my graphic design work.
